Alan Grover Pidgeon, a beloved husband, father, grandfather, brother, and friend, passed away peacefully at home on April 12, 2025, at the age of 77. Born on March 25, 1948
Alan proudly served in the United States Army, a testament to his commitment and love for his country. His military service was just one facet of a well-lived life that included passions for fishing and hunting, which brought him joy throughout the years. He found peace in nature, often seen casting his line or walking through the woods. In addition to his outdoor hobbies, Alan enjoyed watching Westerns, which mirrored his straightforward approach to life.
He is remembered fondly by his dearly beloved wife, Mary Pidgeon, who stood by his side through thick and thin. Alan is also survived by his sons John Pidgeon and his wife Jessica, Skye Pidgeon as well as his brother Clint Pidgeon and wife Betty, his sisters Martha Baker and husband William, Martha Overby, and Carlene Clark. The family legacy continues with his grandchildren, Weston Pidgeon, Kaylee Pidgeon, Preston Pidgeon, and Cameron Pidgeon.
Alan's departure leaves an irreplaceable void as he is reunited with his daughter Kimberly Pidgeon and son Zane Pidgeon, as well as his siblings Modean Crawford, Leroy Edwards, Wilford Edwards, Martin Edwards, A.G. Pidgeon, and his parents Donald and Janet Pidgeon.
