Barbara Ann "Bobbie" Callahan, born on February 17, 1957, passed away on June 24, 2026, at the age of 69. Her life was marked by devotion to her family and an enduring commitment to those she loved.

Bobbie was the cherished daughter of the late Harry H. "Scratch" Callahan, Sr., and Agnes Pearl Thompkins. She was a beloved sister to Lindagail Callahan and Alice Honeycutt, both of whom predeceased her, as well as to her late brother, Harry H. Callahan, Jr.

She is lovingly remembered by her niece Pam Batten, great nieces  Pamela Lumsford, and April Batten, and by her great nephews James Lumsford, Jimmy M. Lumsford, Derick Batten, Eric Batten, and Kenneth Batten, Jr. Her warmth and kindness extended to her five great- great-nieces and six great-great-nephews, whose lives she touched in meaningful ways.

Bobbie enjoyed eating at her favorite restaurant Melvins in Elizabethtown, she will be missed by all her knew her.

A time of visitation will be held on Tuesday, June 30, 2026 at the Bladenboro Funeral Chapel, from 10:00AM until 11:00AM. A graveside service will be conducted at 11:15AM in the Lewis Cemetery in Bladenboro with Reverend Derick Batten officiating.
