Barry Jay Simpson

Barry Jay Simpson of Bladenboro, NC was born on Thursday, August 8, 1957 and passed away on Monday, December 16, 2024 at his residence. He was 67 years of age. 

Barry served proudly in the United States Army. 

He leaves behind his brothers Brian Simpson, David Simpson and Mark Simpson and sister Cheryl Simpson along with six children, Shannon Lawton husband Robert Lawton, daughter Kimberly, Reiser sons Barry Simpson Junior and wife Bobbie Lynn Simpson Christopher Simpson and wife, Amy Simpson, daughter, Alissa Dempsey and husband, Brian Dempsey and daughter Cynthia Simpson. Along with 23 grandchildren and 3 great grandchildren. 

He had two exwives whom which he was still friends with Gloria miller and Lori Simpson. He had very few close friends but they were worth a lot to him . Special thanks to Mr. Herman and Mrs Thedus Ransom your help love and generosity met more than you can imagine to him and his family. He lived a humble life alone with his spaghetti westerns and other classic tv shows he loved music . He loved his family but he also loved his peace and quiet. He was an avid Nascar fan of cars 3-8 and 88. He loved his 1957 Chevy bel airs.

 A time of visitation will be held on Saturday, December 21, 2024 at the Bladenboro Funeral Chapel from 2:00PM until 4:00PM. 

 Always remembered forever loved … driver 57 has taken his last lap
