Bernard Johnson

Bernard Johnson of Bladenboro was born on August 25, 1942 and passed away at his home on Sunday, June 15, 2025.

He was 82 years young.

Vern was preceded in death by his parents Bernard Johnson, Sr. and Edna "Mabel" Johnson. 

Vern was a veteran and served his country doing several term during the Vietnam war. After the service he was a truck driver where he drove many millions of miles until his retirement. In his free time he enjoyed bowling, Fishing, Building model cars and stock car racing. 

He leaves behind to cherish his memories his wife Robin Johnson of the home, sons Bernard "Buddy" Johnson and his wife Kerrie, Tony Johnson and his wife Frances, daughter Shanna, stepson Michael Kyger, grandchildren Zoee, Briar, and Kylie. 

Honoring Vern's wishes no services will be held.
