Bobbie Jean Pierce Ransom

Ms. Bobbie Jean Pierce Ransom of Bladenboro, NC was born on July 27, 1946 and passed away peacefully at her home on June 29, 2025. Bobbie was 78 years young.

A visitation will be held on Monday, July 7, 2025 from the hours of 6PM until 8PM at the Bladenboro Funeral Chapel: 400 S. Main Street Bladenboro, NC 28320

Bobbie had an loving personality that endeared her to many. She had a lifelong admiration for Elvis, a passion that brought joy and amusement to those around her she also enjoyed cooking all types of food. Her heart was rooted in family, she was very proud to be called Me-Ma, and she dedicated herself to nurturing her loved ones, leaving an imprint of love in their lives she was very blessed to have shared a continued special friendship with her children’s father, Herman Ransom and his wife Thetus. Lots of cookouts, holidays and great memories. 

Bobbie Jean is survived by her beloved daughters, Kimberly Walker and her husband Johnnie, Lisa Moody and her husband Kerry, who will forever hold her memory dear. She leaves behind five grandchildren: Alyssa Walker, "John John" Walker, Kristina Burchette, Krystal Burchette, and Victoria Locklear, great grandchildren Alaska, Raven, Jax, Lilly, Ava, Ellie, Scarlett, and two on the way, one sister Joan Nail, niece Monica, and nephew Mike, two fur babies Cooper and Allie, as well as many friends that cherished her.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Fred Pierce and Emma Smith Pierce, who have welcomed her into their arms once again.

Bobbie's warmth and laughter will be missed by all who knew her. Her legacy of love will continue to shine through her family and friends as they remember her fondly.

Graveside services will be conducted at the Pierce Family Cemetery on Tuesday, July 8, 2025 at 11:00AM. Pastor Ronnie Brisson will be officiating.
