Crystal Nicole McLean Vega

Crystal Nicole McLean Vega of Elizabethtown, NC was born on July 7, 1983 to the late Gary McLean and Debra Ann Atkinson in Robeson County, and passed away on May 15, 2025 at home. She was 41 years young.

Crystal was known for her love of photography, often capturing the beauty of life's simplest moments through her lens. Her playful personality brought joy to those around her, as she had a unique gift for joking and sharing laughter, creating an atmosphere of warmth. Additionally, she had a profound love for animals, forming bonds that reflected her gentle and compassionate heart.

She is survived by her devoted mother, Debra A. Guyton and her husband Justin, step-mother Patty Howell McLean, her furbaby Ms. Kitty along with many other relatives and friends whose lives have been enriched by her presence. Crystal's father, Gary McLean, has preceded her in death.

In honor of Crystal's life, a graveside service will take place on May 23, 2025. The service will began at 11:00 AM at New Pait Cemetery, located on Center Road in Bladenboro, North Carolina. Family and friends are invited to gather in remembrance of Crystal.
