Glenda Faye Hester Allen

Mrs. Glenda Faye Hester Allen of Lumberton, NC was born on November 3, 1956 to the late David and Lillie Hester. Glenda passed away peacefully on Sunday, October 26, 2025 at her home, she was 68 years young.

A devoted family woman, Glenda’s love for her family was evident in everything she did. She cherished her husband, Don, and her affection for her family shaped countless special moments throughout their lives together. Glenda had an infectious spirit; she never met a stranger and welcomed all with open arms, making everyone feel like a lifelong friend. Her deep love for God was a guiding force in her life, influencing her generous heart and compassionate nature.

A funeral service will be held on Friday, October 31, 2025 at the Bladenboro Church Of God: 702 W Seaboard St, Bladenboro, NC 28320 at 4:00PM. A visitation will be held one hour prior to the funeral service the same day. Burial will follow the service in the Butters Cemetery.

She leaves behind to cherish her memories her husband Don Allen of the home, children Chris Allen and his wife Nicki, Colby Allen, one brother Danny Ray Hester and his wife Norma, two daughters Caylee Willoughby and her husband Blake, Leigha Hester, grandchildren Bryson Allen, Nicholas Prevatte, Dixie Prevatte, River Willoughby, Fisher Willoughby, Landri Hester, special sister in laws Sheila Mitchell, Denise Allen, Angie Bass, as well as a special nephew Ronald Gary Hester, Jr. and a special niece Charlotte Helms and her husband Sonny, along with many nieces and nephews and many friends. 

Glenda will be remembered for her vibrant spirit, her unwavering love for her family, and the many lives she touched with her kindness and joy. Her memory will live on in the hearts of all who had the honor of knowing her.
