Ivey Taylor, born December 4, 1972, passed away on May 28, 2026. Known for her unwavering dedication and loving spirit, Ivey was a hardworking woman who cherished her family above all else.

She is survived by her two children, Mary Dennis and her husband Shane, and Travis Taylor. Ivey was deeply devoted to her family and found great joy in their gatherings, particularly during the holiday season. Christmas held a special place in her heart, and she delighted in bringing everyone together to celebrate. Always at the center of these occasions, she could be found in the kitchen, expertly preparing meals and crafting some of the most memorable desserts, such as pecan pie, strawberry pizza, and pumpkin pie.

Beyond her culinary talents, Ivey had a remarkable green thumb. She loved spending time outdoors, nurturing her flowers with care and skill, often transforming her garden into a vibrant oasis. Those close to her remembered her warm embraces that seemed to ease all worries, her infectious laughter, and the radiant presence she carried into every room.

In addition to her children, Ivey is survived by her sister Lisa Turbeville and her husband Craig, her brother Billy Taylor II, and her sister Christy Ezzell and her husband Jeff. Her family and friends will forever hold her in their hearts.

A memorial service will be held at Liberty Worship Center at 2:00PM June 14, 2026.
