Mr. Kenneth Clifton Britt, Jr. of Clarkton was born on May 10, 1947 in Bladen County to the late Kenneth and Leta Britt. He passed away on August 31, 2026 at his home. Kenneth was 79 years of age.

The family will receive friends on Thursday, September 3, 2026 from the hours of 6:00PM until 8:00PM at the Bladenboro Funeral Chapel.

Kenneth’s life was centered on family. He shared his life with his wife, Nancy Baysden Britt. He is also survived by his daughter, Teresa Britt Kinlaw, and her husband, Duane, of Lumberton, North Carolina; his son, Chris “Bull” Britt, and Chris’s wife, Pam “PJ,” of Clarkton, North Carolina; and his nephew/son, Delbert Baysden, and Delbert’s wife, Sarah, of Bladenboro, North Carolina.

Kenneth also leaves behind his grandchildren, Demeary Edge and her husband Dawson, Taleigha Hunt, and Connor Britt. He is further survived by his brother, Arthur Craven Britt of Georgia, and his sister, Gail Hamilton-Harlan of Ohio. He also leaves several nieces, nephews and dear friends that held a special place in his heart and he treasured every moment spent with them.

Along with his parents, he was preceded in death by his siblings, Margaret Britt, David Britt, Robert “Bobby” Britt, Doc Clayton Britt, and Linda Britt Smith.

Kenneth will be remembered for his devotion to his loved ones, for the steady and caring way he provided for his family, and for the simple joys he found in life, including time spent hunting. His life leaves a lasting impression on all who knew him, and he will be dearly missed by his family and friends.
