Milton Thoris Gause of Bladenboro NC, went to be with Jesus on Sunday January 18, 2026 at the age of 81. He was born on February 28, 1944 to the late William C. Gause and Alice Davis Gause in his home located in Bethel Township. After graduating from Littlefield High-school, he had a career in farming and carpentry work. He worked at Bladen Builders and retired with Bladen County Schools. After retiring from Bladen County Schools he started his career as a full-time Papa. Milton

enjoyed spending time with his family, his farm animals, and patrolling the dirt road. Milton is survived by his sons, Lorne Gause(Kim) and Tim Gause(Libby); his daughters, Penny Phillips and Nancy Caulder(Donald); his sister Faye Gause Willet; grandchildren, Brittany Gause(Johnny), Kendra Wilkins(Dean), Lee Caulder(Lindsey), Donald Caulder(Katie), John Gause, Jesse Gause(Bonnie), Brennan Gause, and Lillie Gause; his great grandchildren, Bryson Allen, Blake Haley, Kasey Haley, Santana Taylor, Gemma Wilkins, and Sadie Wilkins. He is also survived by his honorary sons Larry Buffkin(Cristan) and Russ Bridgers(Devonda) and honorary great grandson Kameron Cooper. Milton was preceded in death by his parents William and Alice Gause, brother Louis C. Gause, and son in love Clint Kellihan.

The family will receive friends on Wednesday, January 21, 2026 from the hours of 6:00PM until 8:00PM at the Bladenboro Funeral Chapel.
