Shirley Mae Lewis of Nakina was born on December 20, 1942 and passed away on September 22, 2026 at her home, completing her journey of 83 years.

She is survived by her daughters, Jackie Lopez and Nancy Taylor, sons - Wilson Jerome, Arthur Jerome, Robert jerome She also leaves behind her grandchildren, Kira Rouse, Danny Bashaw, Amanda Vest, and Sherry Foster, who carry forward her memory and the bonds of family she cherished.

Shirley’s legacy continues in the lives of her great-grandchildren: Kiara Gore and Chandler; and Shianne Muse, Brian, Memphis Bashaw, Dakoda Muse, Isabo Rouse, Alexis Vest, Mason Vest, Rayne Hernadez, Jaydon Hernadez, Sage Hernadez, Andrew Foster, and Cassie Foster. Through each of them, her family’s story continues, and her memory will remain a lasting presence in the hearts of those who knew and loved her.

Shirley Mae Lewis will be fondly remembered and deeply missed by her family and friends. Her life is honored in the love of her children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren, and in the many family connections that will endure in her memory.
