Wilma Jean Potter, 92, passed away peacefully on October 17, 2026. Born on December 9, 1933, in Cincinnati, Ohio, Wilma lived a long life and was deeply loved by her family and all who knew her.

Wilma was a woman of Christian faith whose life touched the hearts of many. She was loved so much by everyone who knew her, and her memory will forever be cherished by those fortunate enough to have been a part of her life.

She enjoyed the simple pleasures that brought her happiness, including working on her word search and puzzle books and watching her favorite soap operas and NCIS. These familiar pastimes were among the things that made her uniquely herself and will bring fond memories to those who loved her.

Wilma was preceded in death by her beloved husband, William Potter, and her daughter, Brenda Joyce Hightower.

She leaves behind her loving children, Diane Flowers (Douglas), Susan Ulyate, Billy Potter, and David Potter (Tracy); eight loving grandchildren; eleven great-grandchildren; and her dear sister, Wanda White. Her family was an important part of her life, and her love will continue to live on through the many generations she leaves behind.

Though her passing leaves a deep sadness in the hearts of those who loved her, the memories she created and the love she shared will never be forgotten. Wilma will be dearly missed by her family, friends, and all who had the privilege of knowing her.

A celebration of Wilma’s life will be held later this year. Details will be shared with family and friends.

Forever loved, forever remembered, and forever in our hearts.
